Course Description

Mathematics involves solving problems using a variety of methods.

Such methods may be related to number patterns, measurement of everyday objects, algebraic skills and processes, geometrical reasoning or statistical analysis.

This course provides the foundation required for progression to Level 2 Mathematics with Calculus or Mathematics with Statistics.

Mathematics is vital for all trades and professions, and leads to pathways to engineering, sciences, medicine, computer sciences, finance, physics, surveying, seismic geology, meteorology, and aviation and more.
