Year 10 Drama

Course Description

This course will introduce you to the world of drama through language, improvisation, characterisation, stagecraft, mime, movement and mask. 

You will be taken on a journey that will build on your performance strengths, while at the same time open new doors into the world of theatre. 

Topics include: Theatre History, Mask and Mime, Improvisation and Script Work. 

Through Drama, students will develop self-esteem and communication skills through live performance on stage.

Off site activities approximately: $25
There may be an opportunity to extend learning with visits to live performances or attend specialist workshops in school.
