NCEA Level 3 Product Design

Course Description

Product Design

This is an academic and practical based course where we will investigate and address current issues and problems that need to be solved through the testing of ideas, modelling and prototyping.

We have the opportunity to develop individual solutions, working alongside chosen clients and a range of stakeholders.

Using the design process we will successfully manufacture a product that will address the requirements of the brief and specifications, at the same time recording all the technological evidence and processes we have followed.

Product design leads to tertiary diploma and/or degree courses, technical apprenticeships, and working in the building and manufacturing and design industries.
