NCEA Level 1 English
Course Description
A rebel is someone who goes against the grain of what society expects.
This course will examine how people sometimes need to take control, or rebel, in order to get things done or to make things happen.
We may explore authors’ visions of how current or past trends in society can influence the future and also what governments might do to maintain control.
This course is for students who enjoy thought-provoking texts and thinking critically about New Zealand and the world around them.
