Course Description

ITO Construction Technology

Students in this course will gain experience in planning and managing materials and tools. 

We will work on carpentry and joinery projects and will complete theory work booklets to show subject knowledge.

Construction focuses on developing practical skills and uses Unit Standards developed and moderated by the Building Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO).

An interest in construction and successful completion of the Year 9 or 10 Product Design and Manufacturing course would be an advantage.
