Course Description
ITO Construction
In Level 2 Construction we will gain experience in planning projects, managing materials and using a range of hand and power tools.
We will work on joinery and furniture projects and will complete work booklets to support the practical knowledge.
The program of work focuses on developing practical skills using Unit Standards developed and moderated by BCITO, an Industry Training Organisation (ITO).
This will lead you onto either Level 3 Construction or the Building and Construction Industry such as apprenticeships in the trades.
Recommended Prior Learning
You will have gained at least 14 credits in either Level 1 Engineering, Level 1 Product Design or Level 1 Construction, or will have an interview with the HOD to determine the suitability of the course for your desired career pathway.
