NCEA Level 3 Early Childhood Education

Course Description

In this course, we continue to develop knowledge and skills in the practical care and education of young children in a New Zealand early childhood education setting. 

All assessments are internal Unit Standards and contribute to the National Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Students will be required to participate in a placement at an ECE service for two days during Term 3 or 4 to complete practical components of three assessment tasks.


Recommended Prior Learning

Successful completion of Level 2 ECE or by approval of the Teacher in Charge.
