Course Description
Engineering
Level 2 Engineering continues to build on the skills we developed in the Level 1 Engineering course and includes hand tools, machine skills and basic welding skills.
This course is delivered in conjunction with Competenz, an Industry Training Organization (ITO). All credits are internally assessed Unit Standards adding up to 19 credits.
This will lead onto either Level 3 Construction or the Building and Construction Industry such as apprenticeships in the trades.
Recommended Prior Learning
You will have gained at least 12 credits in either Level 1 Engineering, Level 1 Product Design or Level 1 Construction, or will have an interview with the Teacher in Charge of Level 2 Engineering to determine the suitability of the course for your desired career pathway.
