NCEA Level 2 Drama
Course Description
You will increase your knowledge of group and individual performance along with the use of drama technologies.
You will continue to develop your techniques; by exploring well-known texts; devising your own script; studying a specific form of theatre and preparing a ‘One Act Play’ event evening for a public audience.
This course builds on the knowledge and skills learnt in 01 Drama and will extend you if you have previous outside experience in drama.
Recommended Prior Learning
You should have gained at least 14 credits from Level 1 Drama or an audition with the Head of Department.

There will be an opportunities to extend learning with visits to live performances and/or attend specialist workshops in school.
