Year 9 Fashion and Design

In this course, you will learn different skills such as: design drawing, construction techniques, pattern making and surface application techniques.

The first project is based on Worry Dolls where you will design and manufacture a toy for donation to a Refugee Centre run by Auckland University of Technology. 

The second project focuses on developing a hoodie design, working with a commercial pattern and following a construction plan to make a hoodie. 

All assessments are theory and practical based.
