NCEA Level 3 Digital Technologies - Programming
Course Description
In this course, we will learn the digital technology concept of artificial intelligence, explaining the mechanism behind the concept and the problems or issues related to the concept.
We will also write an application using a text-based programming language like C#. The application will be a Graphical User Interface (GUI) and the data will be stored in files. This application will be planned and developed using project management tools, deconstructing the problem into smaller components.
We will explain networking concepts and use appropriate tools, procedures, protocols and techniques when installing, and configuring hardware, software and peripherals for a specified network.
We will also test, diagnose and troubleshoot configuration faults for a network.
Recommended Prior Learning
To enter this course you should have gained at least 12 credits in Level 2 Digital Technologies - Programming, or have the approval of the Teacher in Charge.
