Students in Years 7-10 at Twizel Area School have the opportunity to choose optional subjects for their timetable, to study as well as the core subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education and Health, Art and Technology.
These option subjects give students a taste of what they can study in their NCEA years and onto University or Polytech.
Click the links below for more information about each option, including future pathways and job opportunities. Semester 2 runs from Week 21 -40 and students are required to choose 2 option subjects - one first choice and one backup.
